The Collaborative Conference 2007 is a first for our industry, bringing together 2,500 Canadian and American piano teachers in Toronto from March 23 to 27 – and the Piano Workbook will be there! Although there will be much to see and do, as well as over one hundred booths in the showroom, if you are planning on attending, I hope you’ll stop by #611 to have a look, say hello, and enter in the prize draw. I will also be participating in the poster presentation event on Sunday, March 25th and Monday, March 26th from 10:30am-12:00 noon with my project, “Building a Solid Structure: Introducing the Sonata Allegro Form”. It presents a simple approach for explaining the sometimes confusing concept of the sonata allegro form to young musicians. I’m looking forward to the conference and hope to meet many of you there.
